Recordings & permissions

Camera: records your race video. Microphone: optional audio for voice split suggestions; audio is processed by Cloudflare. Review suggestions before adding results.

Photos: choose an existing video or save a copy using your phone’s share controls. LapRoster does not need access to your entire photo library.

Keep the app open during recording and upload. If your phone locks or you switch apps, reopen LapRoster and check the upload status. Browser apps cannot guarantee background recording or uploading.

Uploaded means the recording is saved online. If upload is pending, keep the original and use Save or share video for a backup. Never clear browser data while a recording exists only on your phone.

Text and email notifications use the preferences selected during family setup. Browser push notifications are not enabled.

Log in first, then describe what happened. Don’t include passwords, recovery links, or private athlete details.

Delete my account

This submits an account deletion request for review. It does not immediately delete your account. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and email a confirmation when finished. We will review shared team records and subscriptions before completing deletion. Records required for accounting or other legal obligations may be retained.

For coaches, team ownership and shared records need to be resolved so families do not lose access unexpectedly. Requesting deletion does not cancel billing; manage your subscription separately.
